Full Setup

This applies to both Thursday night rehearsal and Sunday Morning.

  1. Unlock & open the cabinets.
  2. Turn on the Sound board. The switch is on the rear right.

  3. Setup the Projection laptop.
    1. Lift the monitor up and position it next to the laptop.
    2. Power on the monitor using the rightmost button on the bottom.
    3. Position the keyboard in front of the laptop if it isn't already (make sure it's plugged into the USB on the right; if a thumb drive is in there, remove it and place it in front of the monitor).
    4. Open the laptop and log in to Windows.
    5. Start ProPresenter.
  4. Set up the Lighting board.
    1. Carefully lift and rotate the monitor to stand it up. Place the keyboard in front of the lighting (EOS) board.
    2. Press the power button on the back right corner of the Apple box to turn it on.
    3. Log into Mac OS. The EOS Family program will start automatically.
    4. You may notice the lights change and/or move around as the program starts and takes control over the lights. This is normal.
  5. Set up Video Switcher.
    1. Turn on the power strip behind the monitor.
    2. Lift the monitor up and stand it behind the switcher and joystick console, carefully positioning the leg on the left under the cords coming out of the Roland switcher.
  6. Go to the back cupboard.
    1. Open the cupboard.
    2. On the black panel on the right, press 2, 5, and 9 (Video On, Sound On, and HDMI Wall). Flip up the "Cameras" switch to the right of the black panel.
    3. On the white panel on the left, press the "All On" and "Worship" buttons.
    4. Get the black LG remote control sitting in the top right corner, point it at the stage monitor TV on the back wall, use the power button at the top to turn it on, then return it to its place.
  7. On the Sound Board, press the green User button on the left.
  8. Turn on the stage lights.
    1. Go on-stage and head through the gap in the curtains on stage-left.
    2. On the box by the breakers, flip all 3 switches up (to On).
  9. Get the wireless microphones.
    1. Go through the opposite gap in the curtains on stage-right and turn right.
    2. Find the wooden cupboard on the wall to the left near the big rack full of audio and lighting hardware. If you want light, flip the light switch to the left of the door in the back left corner.
    3. Open the left door of the cupboard and pull out the plastic container with wireless microphones from the middle shelf.
    4. Get mics #5, 6, 7, & 8, depending on how many vocalists there will be.
    5. Install the microphones on the stands, starting with the keyboard and working towards towards stage-left, then back stage-right towards back stage-left.

Rehearsal Tear Down

Everything can be turned off after Thursday night rehearsals.

  1. Turn off the Sound Board.
    1. Make sure everything is muted.
    2. Press the Home button (under the screen).
    3. Press Soft Power on the screen to start the proper shutdown process.

    3. Wait for the screen to say it's safe to power down.
    4. Toggle the rocker switch on the rear right right to power off the mixer.
  10. Turn off the Projection laptop.
    1. Close ProPresenter
    2. Close the laptop
    3. Power off the monitor using the rightmost button on the bottom.
    4. Lift the monitor up and lay it down gently next to the laptop.
  11. Close & lock the cabinets.
  12. Go back on stage and gather up the 8 music binders. Take the binders to the choir room and place them on top of the Contemporary Music file cabinet.
